Dave has created an entertaining, adventurous biopic of Snoozer’s story, filled with musical moments and the emotional highs and lows of a career of a jazz pioneer working in the 1910s-1940s. Set against the backdrop of pivotal American events such as Prohibition and the Great Depression, and exploring in vivid detail Snoozer’s journey from the small churches of a Louisiana sawmill town to the King of Jazz’s big stage in New York City, this story will endear Snoozer Quinn to its viewers.
